Meet Our Director and Licensed Building Professional

Welcome and thank you for being interested in who is at the helm of looking after your most valued asset, your home.  I am Brian Babbidge, a successful Builder, Building Adviser, Project Manager and Director of Building Works Australia. As our clients can happily attest to, I am the Building Advisor that happily imparts an incredible wealth of knowledge and expertise with 40 years of tradesmenship under my tool belt. 

I hold licenses in both NSW and QLD for domestic and commercial building projects and am a Gold Member with the HIA (Housing Industry Association of NSW) which I have held since 1992. Prior to moving from Brisbane to Sydney,  I was an awarded and well respected builder throughout Brisbane City and surrounds in Queensland.

Today, I am proud to say that Building Works Australia leads the way with a team of highly skilled and licensed tradesmen who provide their licensed expertise in renovating, constructing or undertaking building maintenance and repair services, as well as smaller handyman-type services, right across Sydney.  We are builders, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, plasterer/tilers, and we pride ourselves on always being on time, caring for your property, being flexible and communicating well, and most importantly being completely upfront - no hidden costs!

We opened our office on the lower north shore of Sydney in 2007, with an enthusiastic focus on providing a superior team of tradesmen to undertake renovations, maintenance and repair services for clients in both the residential and commercial market. 

We are proudly 100% Australian owned and operated and maintain the same enthusiastic focus today as we did when we first opened our doors.

We utilise a licensed builder and licensed insured sub-contractor tradespeople within our professional structure.

Building Works Australia holds Contractor License number 45000BH issued by the Department of Fair Trading of New South Wales, thus ensuring the highest standards and service. 

A key to the success of Building Works Australia is our ability to provide personal service to all existing and potential clients.  Sixty-five percent of our business comes from existing clients and the largest source of new business comes from referrals, better known as word of mouth.  Referrals are key to the strength of our business and come from offering the highest level of customer service, expertise and value for money.  Our aim is for client satisfaction every time, because then we can be confident that you will come back to us for your next home renovation, maintenance, extension or build project.
